A brief BioI was born and raised in the Northwest. I have a BA in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and a MSW degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. I moved to Seattle in 1976 when I was working for the federal government counseling returning soldiers who needed vocational rehabilitation. After five years of that service, I started a contract painting company which I ran for several years until I was introduced to real estate sales by a realtor friend. He thought I might be good at it. I have always loved older homes and I enjoy helping people, so it was only natural that I would gravitate to a career in real estate, which I began in 1983. In January, 1984, I decided to specialize in single family homes on Queen Anne Hill because of the character of the homes there, their architectural diversity and the proximity of the Hill to downtown Seattle.It seemed to make sense to focus on a specific niche. Apart from business, I enjoy golf, swimming, weight training,reading and good wine and food. I also have an authentic passion for my work.
